Spiegel Panels by Verner Panton
An icon returns to shape modern spaces
Spiegel Panels by Verner Panton
Originally designed by Verner Panton in 1965 as part of the KAUFHOF seating system, the pyramid-shaped elements explored modular geometry and spatial rhythm. Panton later developed the concept further for the Der Spiegel headquarter in 1969, where the panels became a permanent architectural installation, shaping the identity of the interior through a distinctive geometric ceiling landscape — now reintroduced by Offecct for contemporary spaces.
Design that shapes spaces
-
Spiegel Panels transform ceilings and walls into architectural statements. Through sculptural geometry and rhythm, they create spaces that are visually distinctive while improving acoustic comfort. Their expressive form allows designers to shape atmosphere, movement and spatial identity.
