Ineke Hans
Ineke Hans is a prominent figure in contemporary Dutch design. After studying product design in Arnhem and earning her MA from the Royal College of Art in London, she established Studio Ineke Hans in 1998, with her projects ranging from furniture and objects to public spaces, research, and exhibition design. Deeply committed to circularity, her studio focuses on developing innovative product typologies and sustainable strategies that respond to evolving social and environmental landscapes. She has collaborated with major international manufacturers and institutions such as Arco, Cappellini, Circuform, Iittala, Magis, and Offecct, as well as high-profile initiatives like the Fogo Island Inn and her award-winning REX circular chair. Currently based between Arnhem and Berlin, where she serves as Professor at the Berlin University of the Arts, her practice delivers enduring, forward-thinking solutions recognized worldwide.
